Before starting LECS in August 2007 its founder Joseph Edghill possessed ten years experience in specialty coatings sales along with an additional fifteen years prior experience in commodity and specialty chemical sales.
In the former role he managed projects to develop polyurethane, acrylic and PVDF coatings for flexible and semi-rigid substrates that found end use applications in a variety of industries like automotive interiors and weather-strip, commercial upholstery, textiles, roofing membranes, signs and banners, tents, and other diverse markets. These coatings were applied to vinyl, TPO/TPE/TPU, and EPDM-rubber substrates
Prior to his experience in coatings Joe had over fifteen years experience in commodity and specialty-chemical sales. He sold resins, surfactants, water-treatment chemicals, solvents, inorganic and other specialty chemicals to a wide range of industries.
At LECS our aim is to build a multi-faceted organization offering a portfolio of creative solutions to customers in a variety of flexible-substrate markets.
Joe holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the City College of New York and an M.B.A. from Capital University, Columbus, OH.
